I would like to tell you briefly about our courses, and how we can help you in your studies of the English language.
Whether you are studying arts or science subjects, a good standard in English is necessary for your progress at school. You have probably discovered that grammar, new vocabulary, and strange pronunciation can cause learning to become a difficult and frustrating experience. Spending a short time in England will help you to learn naturally by living with an English family, and having direct experience of hearing and using the language among English people. You will study, assisted by patient tutors, and practise what you have learned, while enjoying a visit to an attractive English seaside town.
We welcome small groups of pupils and individuals, who usually stay for 3 weeks. The length of stay can be varied by arrangement. As our school is a small organization, it is easy for everyone to become well acquainted in a friendly atmosphere. A varied programme of activities and visits to places of interest, complement studies.
Ensuring that our pupils receive good care and attention is a priority. They are accommodated in the homes of English hosts where a warm welcome is given by families who enjoy meeting young people from other countries. Host parents, and tutors, are available at all times to offer help or advise in any situation. Feeling secure and happy enables pupils to make good progress.
It is our intention that in returning to their homes and schools, pupils will have greater self-confidence and feel encouraged in their learning.
